In major metropolitan cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and now Seattle, libraries are landmarks and icons. Library Bistro & Bookstore Bar at the Alexis Hotel brings this same iconic feel to the downtown Seattle restaurant community.

The Library Bistro is reminiscent of a 1940s supper club featuring faux lizard skin high-back booths and dramatic lighting creating an ultra-stylish setting for the most festive occasion or the most intimate dining.

• Breakfast: 7 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Monday - Friday
• Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday - Friday
• Brunch: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday - Sunday

Restaurant Seating:

• Seating for 72 guests, plus bar area.
• Semi-private and private dining facilities for 10 to 100 guests
• Reception-style facilities available for up to 200 guests.

Location:

• Our restaurant is located in downtown Seattle between Madison and Spring Street.
• Within walking distance to the downtown Seattle waterfront, Benaroya Hall, the Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Safeco Field and Seahawks Stadium.

The Bookstore Bar

Located in the Alexis Hotel, this Seattle hide-away is a favorite amongst locals and visitor alike. Shelves of books line the walls near the ornate wood bar and create a comfortable reading room feel. Diners can peruse the extensive selection of cookbooks (also available for purchase), as well as magazines and newspapers from around the country. An outstanding selection of single malt scotch, single barrel bourbon and international beers are offered for your enjoyment.

• Bookstore Evening Menu: Monday 2:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday – Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Seating:
The Bookstore Bar seats up to 30 guests. During the summer season, outdoor seating is available on the sidewalk patio. The entire bar and café is available for private celebrations.
