The lucky grooms won their wedding through the One Love Wedding Showcase and were thrilled to tie the knot in their hometown of Seattle. Although there was a little bit of rain to contend with (okay, make that buckets of rain), no one let that dampen their enthusiasm for the big day. Event captured by photographers
As guests arrived for the ceremony, they were serenaded by a cellist while sipping champagne.
Justin and Michael both walked down the aisle accompanied by their parents. Tears flowed, first from Michael, and then eventually, nearly everyone in the room engaged in some happy crying.
The ceremony lasted a short and sweet 20 minutes — or about two minutes for every year Justin and Michael had been together.
Both the ceremony and reception took place in the Parlor Room, which was dimmed to give it a warmer feel. To exchange vows, Justin and Michael stood in front of a brick wall, flanked by crystal chandeliers.
The centerpieces by Young Flowers decorated the tables in lime greens and dark grays, with some fall oranges and amber browns thrown in.
As the newlyweds got ready to head to their suite at The Palladian down the street, they basked in the glow of their surroundings one last time. “We will always remember how flawlessly executed the entire evening went,” say Justin and Michael. “Kimpton treated our wedding like it was one of their own, having thought of every single detail to make this truly a dream wedding for us.”
